How to Set up, Delete and Edit Google Alerts in Gmail

Edit Google Alerts:

Can you ‘Edit’ an Alert? Certainly, yes! You can edit any alert you like anytime. Simply follow the steps below:

  1. Log on to Google.com/Alerts
  2. If you aren’t logged in or have been signed out, log in again with the same Google account.
  3. Just next to the interest/topic, Press the “Edit” button
  4. Now edit the interests/topic as you like.
  5. Hit “Update alert

Delete Google Alerts:

It is pretty much easy to delete or stop receiving alerts if you change your mind.

  1. Log on to Google.com/Alerts with your existing Google account.
  2. Next to the ‘feed’, which you have been following, hit the ‘Bin/trash’
